Launcher authentication

The launcher opens Microsoft sign-in in the system browser. Ashes of Elarion does not receive the player's Microsoft password. Remembered launcher tokens are encrypted locally with Windows DPAPI.

Future platform

Before website accounts open, this notice will be replaced by a complete policy describing the minimum Microsoft identity, Minecraft profile, Discord membership, moderation, and audit data used by the platform.
